Subject: Power Struggle is Back On!

A power struggle it was for Prime Climb during February's epic storm that blanketed many parts of Connecticut with three feet of snow this winter. The storm shut down the gym and caused them to cancel their annual Power Struggle bouldering comp.

All I can say is wow. Wallingford is buried in snow. This picture was taken less then a mile from the gym. Needless to say we will be closed today. We are hoping our setters can make it down later today to finish setting for The Power Struggle and host it tomorrow at 1pm. We will keep you posted. Prime Climb Facebook page

On February tenth Prime Climb made the following announcement on their facebook page: "We are sad to announce that we have no choice but to cancel Power Struggle 7. Wallingford exits are still not plowed and a lot of our route setters are stuck at home. As much as we tried to make this happen, it looks like Nemo and its three feet of snow has defeated us. If anyone does make it to the gym we will have free climbing on some awesome new boulder problems. The roads are still really bad around here, so be careful. We plan on having the Power Struggle in June for our 20th anniversary. Again, we are very sad about this and are sorry for the inconvenience." Bummer.

You would think that would be it. See you next year. Come again. Well, the guys and gals down at Prime Climb are excited to announce that they will still be moving forward with Power Struggle 7. Almost three month later the bouldering comp will be kicking things off on Saturday May 4th, so head on down to Wallingford, CT and join the "Struggle."
